On May 20, 2011 Lemon Aid's final tree was planted in Northport ...
On May 22, 2011 a tornado ripped a 6 mile wide path of destruction through Joplin, Missouri ...
After the tornado hit Joplin, I wanted to help but I wasn't sure how I could. Then my mom and I heard on the radio that rescue workers were out in the sun all day because all the trees had been destroyed.
Joplin Before
Joplin After
And that's when I knew.
People in my town call me The Tree Girl and I figure every town needs a Tree Girl. So on May 30, 2011 Lemon Aid began raising funds to replace the hundreds of trees Joplin lost.
And you can help, too by making a donation!
Donations can be made out to Lemon Aid and mailed to:

We may be small, but together we can make a big difference for people who've lost everything ... including their trees!
